Title: Clinical application of serum high-sensitivC-Reactive Proteins (hs-CRP) in type 2 diabetes
Abstract: Objective To investigate the levels of serum high-sensitive C-Reactive Proteins(hs-CRP)in type 2 diabetes(T2DM),and the relationship of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hsCRP)and glycosylated hemoglobin(GSB)、total choleslerol(TC),ratio of total choleslerol(TC)/high density lipoprotein choleslerol(HDL-C,TC/HDL-C).Methods Hs-CRP and GSB,TC,TC/HDL-C in 56 patients of T2DM and 40 health controls were measured by BN-Prospec、DiaSTAT,OLYMPUS2700.56 patients in T2DM were divided into to 2 groups:A group had no complication(retinopathy、nephrosis and neurological disorder);B group had at least a clinical complication. Results The serum hs-CRP in the 56 patients of T2DM was higher than those of 40 health controls(P0.001),B group was higher than A group(P0.001).Hs-CRP is positively correlated with GS,TC,TC/HDL-C.Conclusion Hs-CRP is regarded as a marker to estimate the risk of complication of T2DM.
