Title: Detrusor dysfunction in patients with benign prostatic hyperpiasia complicated with nervous system diseases
Abstract: Objective To study the detrusor dysfunction in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) complicated nervous system deseases. Methods Urodynamic data of 40 patients with BPH complicated nervous system diseases was analyzed. Results The mean maximum flow ratc(Qtnax)was 5. 96ml/sec,the mean maximum cystometric bladder capacity (MCBC)was 285. 97ml, the mean detrusor pressure was 64. 9cm H2O,the mean bladder compliance (BC) was 28. 6/cmH2O,the BC in 22 patients was smaller than 30,and 10 patients was bigger than 30. There were 6 patients with detiusor instability, and 10 patients with detrusor underactivity. Conclusion Urodynamie examination reveals detrusor dysfunctionfunction in patiats with benign prostatic hyperptasia complicated nervous system deseases, and it can determine the eause of difficulity in voiding, and is important in the diagnosis and the seletion of the treatment for the patients.
