The grid distortion, metal velocity field, plastic equivalent stress field and plastic equivalent strain field during the non-symmetric profile extrusion in the two-hole die have been obtained. The non-uniform deforming characteristics of extruded piecework have been exposed. It is compared the extrusion process in one-hole die with in two-hole die. It is found that there are two vortex flow fields of opposite direction in the deforming body. The function for metal flow counteracts each other. The cross cracking, bending, distorting and twisting of the extruded workpiece is not produced in the profile extrusion process. It is based on selecting and optimizing properly technological parameters for the profile extrusion in the multi-hole die.Read More
