Title: Clinical Observation of Dangua Prescription on Type 2 Diabetes Patients with Long-term Hyperglycosemia
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of Dangua prescription on type 2 diabetes patients with long-term hyperglycosemia. Methods 126 diabetes patients with long-term hyperglycosemia were randomly divided into two groups, the control group(44 cases) were treated with insulin, oral antidiabetic drug or insulin and oral antidiabetic drug according to the condition of patients, beside the routine treatment above, the treatment group(82 cases) were treated with Dangua prescription. The changes of clinical symptoms, blood sugar,HbA1C,C peptide, blood rheology and fibrinogen were observed before and after treatment. Results Compared with the control group,2 hours postprandial blood glucose,HbA1C,half an hour postprandial C peptide,2 hours postprandial C peptide, high shear viscosity of whole blood, low shear viscosity of whole blood, fibrinogen and cumulative scores of symptoms were decreased(P0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups in fasting blood glucose and fasting C peptide. The average dosage of insulin in treatment group was less obviously than that in control group(P0.05),but the average dosage of Gliclazide extended action tablet,Metformin extended action tablet and rosiglitazone have no significant difference between the two groups. The total effective rate was 92.68% in the treatment group and 77.27% in the control group, the treatment group being better than the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Dangua prescription could effectively improve clinical symptoms of diabetes patients, decrease blood glucose, improve pancreatic islet function and blood viscosity, and combined use of Dangua prescription could decrease the dosage of hypoglycemic drug.
