Title: Effect analysis of aripiprazole and risperidone in the treatment of first-episode schizophrenia
Abstract: Objective To study the clinical effect between aripiprazole and risperidone in the treatment of first-episode schizophrenia. Methods 85 cases of first-episode schizophrenia patients in our hospital from January 2011 to January2013 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with risperidone while the observation group was given aripiprazole treatment. Then the clinical effect and drug adverse reaction between two groups was compared respectively. Results After the treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment of observation group was 91.30%.While the total effective rate of control group was 92.31%,with no statistical differenc(P0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of observation group was 26.09%, while the control group was 69.23%,with statistical difference(P0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of aripiprazole and risperidone in the treatment of first-episode schizophrenia is significant, but the adverse reaction of aripiprazole is smaller and the safety is higher. It is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
