Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical significance of expression of P27 and P21 in patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemistry method(SP)was used to detect the express...Objective To investigate the clinical significance of expression of P27 and P21 in patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemistry method(SP)was used to detect the expressions of P27 and P21 in 72 laryngeal carcinoma cases and 21 normal mucosa controls.Results The positive rates of P27and P21 in laryngeal carcinoma were 30.6%、26.4%.There were significant difference compared with normal mucosa of laryngea(l P0.05).Expression of P27 and P21 was significantly correlated with the degree of differentiation and lymph node metastasis of laryngeal carcinoma(P0.05),but they were irrelatively with location(P0.05).Conclusions The concentrations of P27 and P21 were closely correlated with occurrence of laryngeal carcinoma.It is of important significance in detecting the expression of P27 and P21 for early diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of laryngeal carcinoma.Read More
