Title: Comparison of effects of enteral nutrition with parenteral nutrition in critically ill patients
Abstract: Objective To compare the effect of enteral nutrition with parenteral nutrition in critically ill patients.Methods All of 112 cases with critically ill were divided into EN group,PN group,mixotrophism group according to modes of nutrition.Selected 30 cases only oral feeding as control group.Liver function,renal function,TP,Albumin,Hb,TCL,CD4,CD4/CD8 were compared betfore and 10 days after treatment.Results TP,Albumin,prealbumin,Hb,TCL,CD4,CD4/CD8 of EN group,PN group and mixotrophism group had significant difference before and after treat ment(P0.05).IgG of EN group and mixotrophism group had significant difference before and after treatment(P0.05),which were higher than PN group and control group(P0.05).Conclusion Early nutrition support for critically ill patients prevent damage of important organs,improve nutriture and immunologic function.EN and mixotrophism may improve humoral immunity more than PN.
