Title: Application effect of enteral nutrition support in critically ill surgical patients
Abstract: Objective To investigate the application effect of enteral nutrition support in critically ill surgical patients.Methods A total of 80 cases of critically ill surgical patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to different nutrition,two groups was given the same basic nursing method.The control group was given parenteral nutrition,the observation group was given enteral nutrition based on the control group,gastrointestinal function and nutritional status were compared between two groups.Results The gastrointestinal dysfunction rate and complications in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).The levels of serum albumin,hemoglobin,blood glucose,cholesterol after 7 d of the operation in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusions Enteral nutrition support could meet the nutritional status to reduce the complication and help the body recover in surgical critically ill patients.
