Title: Expressions of several different type of drug resistance associated proteins in initially treated breast cancer
Abstract: Objective:To explore the status and mechanism of primary drug resisuance of breast cancer by observing expressions of multiple drug resistance associated proteins. Methods:Data from 369 breast cancer without preoperative chemotherapy and endocrine therapy, expressions of LRP, GST, P190, P170 were measured by immunohistochemistry and evaluated the correlations with tumor size and lymphnode status. Results:The positive rate was LRP 57.99%, GST 32.79%, P190 5.96%, P170 38.12% respectively; The rate of multiple genes coexpression was 40.10%; Correlation coefficient of LRP and P170 was 0.170 2(P0.001). There was no correlation of the four proteins with tumor size or lymphnode status (P0.05).Conclusion:There are expressions and coexpressions of several different type of drug resistance associated proteins in initially treated breast cancer, which reflect the status and complicated mechanism of primary drug resistance.
