Title: A clinical study on Oxymatrine combined with compound Danshen injectlon in treating active cirrhosis related to chronic hepatitis B
Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic; effects of Oxymatrine combined with compound Danshen injection on active cirrhosis related to chronic hepatitis B. Methods 42 patients with cirrhosis were enrolled and divided randomly into observation group and control group. All the patients received the basic treatment for active cirrhosis. Based on the basic treatment, the patients in observation group were given Oxymatrine combined with compound Danshen Injection in addition. The liver function , hepatitis B virus, the marker of hepatic fibrosis and side effects were observed and evaluated after one treatment course and five-month follow-up. Results The markers of liver function :ALT, AST, ALB,A/G,TBIL were Improved significantly in observation group ( P 0.05 or P 0.01), while only ALT and AST were improved significantly in control group ( P 0.05). The negative rates of HBV-DNA and HBeAg in observation group were significantly higher than thane in control group ( P 0.05 );The hepatic fibrosis indexes were improved significantly in observation group after treatment( P 0,05),but which were not reduced significantly in control group. There were no severe side effects in both groups. Conclusion Oxymatrine combined with compound Danshen injection can effectively control the activity of inflammation of the patients with active chronic cirrhosis , reverse the deoompensated condition and inhibit the replication of hepatitis B virus, without seveve side effect for the patients.
