Title: Clinical efficacy of An-Fa-Te in treatment of chronic hepatitis B
Abstract: Objective To explore an effective therapeutic regimen for treatment of chronic hepatitis B and for resistance to liver fibrosis. Methods 208 patients with chronic hepatitis B were divided into two groups,a therapeutic group and a control group. The two groups received the same basic combined treatment. Moreover, the therapeutic group was orally given An-Fa-Te(compound fetal cow liver extract) as well. Before and after treatment, the indexes of serum type Ⅲ(PC-Ⅲ),hyaluronic(HA),type Ⅳ collagen(Ⅳ-C) and hepatic indexes were measured in were measured and the clinical efficacy were observed. Results In the therapeutic group, the serum liver cirrhotic indexes(PC-Ⅲ,LN,HA,and Ⅳ-C),alanine transaminase(ALT),aspartase transaminase(AST), serum total bilirubin(TBiL) and albumin(ALB) were improved after treatment. In comparison to those before treatment and those in the control group, there were statistically significant differences(P0.01),respectively.The clinical therapeutic efficacy was better than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion An-Fa-Te is more effective in protecting liver function and in resistance to the liver tissue fibrosis.
