Title: Clinical Observation on Curative Effect of Acupuncture for Postoperative Urinary Dysfunction in Patients with Anorectal Disease
Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effects of acupuncture for postoperative urinary dysfunction in patients with anorectal disease.Methods 60 patients with anorectal disease were randomly divided into two groups.The therapy group(30 cases)was treated with acupuncture by selecting the acupoints of zhongji,guanyuan,shuidao and sanyinjiao,while the control group(30 cases)with inducing urination.The treatments of 30 minutes were performed in all cases when the patients showed durative urine retention symptoms,such as the urge to urinate,abdomen discomfort and abdomen distention.The urinating conditions were observed and the effects were evaluated.Results The total effective rate was 86.7% and 53.3% in the therapy group and control group respectively,and the difference had statistical significance(P0.01).Conclusions The acupuncture treatment by selecting zhongji,guanyuan,shuidao,sanyinjiao acupoints can improve the postoperative urinary dysfunction in patients with anorectal disease through stimulating the contract of bladder smooth muscles.It is simple,feasible and effective with a low infection rate of urinary system,and can be widely implemented.
