Title: Evaluation of preventive effect of GSH for drug-related hepatic injury of anti-tubercle medicine
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the preventive effect of GSH for drug-related hepatic injury of anti-tubercle medicine.Method 716 cases of newly diagnosed tuberculosis patients were divided into the treatment group(358 cases)and the control group(358 cases). Two groups both adopted 2 HRZE(S)/4HR program of anti-tuberculosis treatment. The treatment group added GSH injection intravenous 1.2 g for two months in the reinforcement period. The incidence of hepatic injury and the sputum negative conversion rate in the smear-positive patients were measured in the two group at the end of the reinforcement period. Results After two-month treatment, the incidence of hepatic injury was 10.06% in the treatment group, and was 20.11% in the control group. The difference was significant(P0.05),the sputum negative conversion rate in the smear-positive patients was 91.76% in the treatment group and was 91.72% in the control group. There was no significant difference(P 0.05).Conclusion GSH can reduce the drug-related hepatic injury of anti-tubercle medicine, which does not affect the efficacy of anti-tuberculosis drugs.
