Abstract:Genetic diversity of Ginkgo biloba var.epiphyllais assessed through AFLP in this paper.The genetic relationship of eight Ginkgo biloba var.epiphyllatrees from Japan and China was analyzed in order to ...Genetic diversity of Ginkgo biloba var.epiphyllais assessed through AFLP in this paper.The genetic relationship of eight Ginkgo biloba var.epiphyllatrees from Japan and China was analyzed in order to provide theoretical evidence for preservation and utilization of Ginkgobiloba var.epiphylla.By selecting seven clear and high polymorphic primer combinations from sixty-four EcoRI/MseI primer combinations,AFLP analysis on the genetic relationship of eight Ginkgo biloba var.epiphyllatrees from Japan and China were conducted.These seven primer combinations produced 240 specific loci and 841 bands,including 749 polymorphic bands.The percentage of polymorphic bands was 89.06%.The identification percentage per primer combination reached to100%. The genetic similarity coefficient among all materials varied from 0.47 to 0.78,which shows a large scale in genetic variation,The genetic variation of Ginkgo biloba var.epiphyllafrom China shows greater diversity than that from Japan.Read More
