Title: The correlation between left ventricular diastolic function and atrial natriuretic peptide, brain natriuretic peptide in primary hypertension
Abstract: Objective:①To detect the character of left ventricular diastolic function in patients with hypertension by echocardiography;②To analyse the correlation between ANP、BNP and left ventricular diastolic function. Method:Conventional echocardiography and DTI were performed in 61 patients with hypertension and 20 controls. These patients were divided into LVH group and NLVH group by LVMI. DTI indices included e、a、e/a. The plasma levels of ANP and BNP were measured by radio-immunology analysis in all subjects. Result:Compared with control group, E/A、e/a ratio decreased significantly in the hypertension group while ANP, BNP increasedsignificantly in the hypertension group; significant correlation were found between ANP and E 0/A, e/a (r=- 0.56 and r=- 0.60, both P 0.01) and also were found between BNP and E 0/A, e/a(r=- 0.62 and r=- 0.65, both P 0.01). Conclusion:ANP、 BNP all had good interrelation with left ventricular diastolic function.
