Title: Clinical prevention of subcutaneous fluid accumulation by modified skin flap isolation in patients with breast modified radical mastectomy
Abstract: Objective To explore effects of two methods of skin flap isolation on preventing subcutaneous hydrops after breast modified radical mastectomy. Methods 72 cases with breast modified radical mastectomy were randomly divided into experimental group(36 cases)and control group(36 cases).Flaps of 36 patients in the experimental group were isolated by electrocome after subcutaneous adrenaline saline injection,and flaps of 36 patients in the contral group were isolated by electrocome without subcutaneous adrenaline saline injection.The times of tube-drawing and postoperative localized hydrops under skin flaps in these two groups were recorded and observed. Results The rate of the subcutaneous hydrops under skin flaps in the experimental group was only 11.1%,and the mean time of tube-drawing was 4.5 days.The rate of subcutaneous hydrops under skin flaps in the control group was 33.3%,and the mean time of tube-drawing was 7.3days. Conclusion The application of the skin dual-apart method in breast modified radical mastectomy can evidently reduces the subcutaneous hydrops under skin flaps.
