Title: Shuertai medical glue to subcutaneous effusion after breast cancer operation therapeutic significance
Abstract: Objective To investigate the intraoperative use of shuertai (carboxymethyl amino polysaccharide sodium solution),the modified radical mastectomy of breast cancer after subcutaneous effusion occurred role. Methods One hundred and eighty-four cases of modified radical mastectomy for primary breast cancer patients were divided into two groups,100 cases in the control group using the axillary incision negative pressure drainage and compression bandaging, experimental group and 84 cases in the control group method based on the use of Shuertai wound spray (carboxymethyl amino polysaccharide sodium solution).Comparison of the two groups after the drainage, subcutaneous effusion and the incidence of other complications. Results The experimental group after 1 day,2 days,3 days of drainage volume were (72.9 ±32.3) ml,(65.4 ±27.6) ml and (34.2 ± 19.5) ml,were significantly less than that in the control group (88.5 ±35.1) ml,(92.8 ±30.8) ml and (47.6 ±27.4) ml (P <0.01).Experimental group (9.2 ± 5.2) days of drainage day compared with the control group (13.8 ± 6.7)days and significantly shortened (P < 0.01).The experimental group postoperative seroma occurred at a rate of 6%,significantly lower than the control group (15%) (P =0.03).And incision infection, the incidence rate of skin flap necrosis the difference between the two groups were not statistically significance (P > O.05).Conclusions Modified radical mastectomy of breast cancer surgery and wound spray, can further reduce the incidence rate of subcutaneous effusion.
