Title: The Numerical Simulation of Influencing Factor of Oblique Penetration of Rod KE Projectile Penetrating into Transverse Moving Targets
Abstract: By the finite element code LS-DYNA3D,the process of obliquely penetrating moving targets with the tungsten alloy long-rod projectile was numerically simulated. The analysis on the capacity of KE projectile penetrating obliquely moving targets was based on the residual velocity of long-rod projectile and the damage degree of the moving targets. The physical figures of targets and variation curves of projectile were obtained in the case of penetration. The simulation results show that initial velocity and slenderness ratio of long-rod projectile, speed and direction of moving targets, impact angle had great effect on the ability of long-rod projectile penetrating moving targets.
