Title: Clinical Effective Observation of Yiqihuoxuehuatan Decoction on Patients with Stable Coronary Artery Disease
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Yiqihuoxuehuatan Decoction on patients with Stable Coronary Artery Disease. Methods: 100 patients were randomized into the control group(treated with standard western medicine,50 cases) and the treatment group(treated with standard western medicine and Yiqihuoxuehuatan Decoction,50 cases),matched by age and gender. The period was 3 months.Angina pectoris attacks(frequency, duration and doses of nitroglycerin),improvement rate of symptom of TCM,high-sensitivity c-reactive protein(HS-CRP),LDL-C(low density lipoprotern-cholesterol),HDL-C(high density lipoprotern-cholesterol) and TG(triglyceride) were observed and compared. Results: Total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than control group(P 0.05);The frequency, duration of angina and dose of nitroglycerin were very significant decrease after than before treatment in the two groups(P 0.01);The frequency and dose of nitroglycerin were more in the treatment than in the control before treatment(P 0.01);there were no difference between the two groups after treatment(P 0.05).HS-CRP were significant decreased after than before treatment in the treatment(P 0.05);LDL-C,HDL-C and TG were very significant decrease after than before treatment in the treatment(P 0.01);HDL-C and TG were significant decrease in the treatment than in the control after treatment(P 0.05).Conclusion: Treatment of stable coronary artery disease with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine could significantly reduce frequency of angina attack, decrease dose of nitroglycerin, improve clinical symptoms and meanwhile level of blood lipid.
