Title: Fluorescence Enhancement of Tb(III)-p- Phthalic Acid-EthylenediamineSystem by Y(III) and Its Analysis Application
Abstract: In the aqueous medium with pH 8.0 the fluorescence intensity(IF) of Tb(Ⅲ)-p _ phthalic acid (p _ PTA)-ethylenediamine(EDA) system increased 84 times by 8.0×10-4 mol/L of Y(Ⅲ). The maximum IF of the system with 1.0×10-8 mol/L Tb(Ⅲ) is obtained with the following conditions: 1.0×10-3 mol/L p _ PTA, 0.5 mL 1%(φ) EDA, a excitation wavelength 296 nm and emission wavelength 546 nm. It was found that the fluorescence intensity was linear with Tb(Ⅲ) concentration in the range of 2.0×10-9 ~2.0×10-7 mol/L. In view of the above a method for the determination of trace of Tb(Ⅲ) is proposed by fluorophotometric analysis with RSD of 0.80% and detection limit of 5.0×10-11 mol/L.
