Title: Chemiluminescence Determination of Indoleacetic Acid with Ru(phen)_(3)~(2+)-Ce(IV) System
Abstract: It was observed that indoleacetic acid (IAA) could greatly enhanced the chemiluminescence (CL) intensity of tris-(1,10-phenanthroline)ruthenium(Ⅱ) ( Ru(phen)~(2+)_(3))-cerium(Ⅳ) system. Based on this finding, a novel CL method was developed for the determination of IAA. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the linear range and detection limit of the proposed method were 5.010~(-3 )~2.0 (μgmL~(-1 ))and 2.0 10~(-3)(μgmL~(-1),) respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of determining 11 solutions containing (0.50 μgmL~(-1 ))IAA was (5.5 %.) This CL method has been successfully applied to the determination of IAA in the synthetic samples. The mechanism of CL reaction was also studied.
