Title: Analysis on effect of open operation in treatment of renal calculi with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy
Abstract: Objective To analyze the rationality of two treatment methods according to the open operation for treatment of renal calculi with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy treatment outcome. Methods Between January 2010 and December 2010, chose the use of open operation for treatment of renal calculi treated 112 patients, used minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy ( MPCNL ) in 112 patients, analyzed on their treatment process and results. Results All 224 cases of patients with kidney stones, including 112 cases of the use of open operation for treatment of renal calculi, and another 112 patients used MPCNL for the treatment of kidney stones, MPCNL operation time, the amount of bleeding in the operation, amount of patients using analgesics after the operation, bed activity time and hospital stay were superior to those of open treatment of kidney stones (P 0.05). Conclusion The use of open operation for treatment of renal calculi trauma, bleeding, stone also clean is not easy, but will also affect the patient's life and work. And MPCNL treatment of stone operation has small wound, less trauma, less bleeding, rapid postoperative recovery and other advantages. So, MPCNL compared with open operation in treatment of renal calculi, should be preferred.
