Abstract:Objective To evaluate the influence of different reconstruction windows on image quality of 64 detector-rows CT coronary angiography.Methods A total of 56 patients with known or suspected coronary art...Objective To evaluate the influence of different reconstruction windows on image quality of 64 detector-rows CT coronary angiography.Methods A total of 56 patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease(CAD) were detected with retrospectively ECG-gated 64-detector-row CT coronary angiography,during a single breath hold.All data of CT scan were transmitted to the EBW workstation,where three-dimensional reconstruction methods were volume rendering(VR),multi-planar reformation(MPR),maximum intensity projection(MIP),curved planar reformation(CPR) and other analysis software on coronal artery.The quality of images reconstructed with different R-R phase was analyzed in terms of artifacts and visibility.Selective coronary angiography was used for reference.Results The best reconstruction time of proximal and distant segments of the right coronary artery,left anterior descending artery(LAD),the proximal segments of left circumflex artery(LCX) were 70% and 75%,the best reconstruction time of mid-segments of the right coronary artery,PDA and distant segments of LCX were 70%,75% and 40%.Conclusion The optimal R-R phase of retrospectively ECG-gated reconstruction images can decrease the artifacts of cardiac motion and improve the reconstructive image quality of coronary arteries.Read More
