Title: Influence of cerebrovascular endothelial cell lesion on the neuronal apoptosis during cerebral ischemia-reperfusion of rats
Abstract: Objective: To study the relations between cerebrovascular lesion,endothelin-1(ET-1),nitric oxide(NO)and neuronal apoptosis in cerebral ischemia reperfusion. Methods: The influence of blood endothelin-1,nitric oxide, ultrastructure of cerebrovasular endothelial cell on the neuronal apoptosis in the early stage of reperfusion were observed on the four-vessel occlusion models. Results: The endothelin-1 in the plasma remarkably increased in the 10min ischemia and reduced in 4h the reperfusion, after 72h,the endothelin-1 level increased again. The nitric oxide in the plasma reduced in 4h the reperfusion and restored after 72h.The cerebrovascular endothelial cell in the plasma defected in part vascular,a little of neuronal apoptosis could be seen after ischemia 10min.the lesion of the endothelial cell became severe and the amount of neuronal apoptosis obviously increased at 24h reperfusion and reached pinnacle at 48h.but the amount of neuronal apoptosis became obvious decreased at 72h.Conclusion: The increase of ET-1 level, the decrease of NO,and the severity of cerebrovascular endothelial cell damage can result in nerve cell further damage.
