Title: Expression of NF-κB,caspase3 and cell apoptosis after focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury in rats
Abstract: Objective To investigate expression of NF-κB,Caspase3 and cell apoptosis after focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury in rats. Methods Middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion rat’s models were performed by using modified filament method. HE,immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization were used to detect expression of NF-κB protein and Caspase3 mRNA. Using TUNEL examine the apoptotic cells. Results The expression of NF-κB protein and Caspase3 mRNA were increased significantly,and apoptotic cells were increased obviously after focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury in rats (P 0.01). Conclusion Up-regulation of NF-κB protein and Caspase3 mRNA expression may be related to nervous cell apoptosis induced by focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury in rats.
