Title: Effects of a systematic rehabilitation nursing intervention guided by the self-care theory on the stroke patients' quality of life
Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of a systematic rehabilitation nursing intervention guided by the self-care theory on the stroke patients'quality of life(QOL) and activities of daily living(ADL).Methods A hundred patients with stroke were assigned into the intervention group and the control group and treated with the routine neurologic medical therapy and the routine care.The patients in the intervention group were treated with a systematic rehabilitation nursing for 6 weeks.QOL and ADL were collected at admission to hospital and the end of the 6th week.Results Compared with the control group,the score of ADL and QOL in the intervention group were higher(P0.01).Conclusion A systematic rehabilitation nursing intervention guided by the self-care theory could effectively improve the quality of life,the activities of daily living,and provided evidences for the future nursing intervention for stroke patients.
