Title: Effects of Paraquat and MPTP between Brain Level of Dopamine and Motor Performace in Mice
Abstract: The mice received i.p paraquat (10 and 20 mg/kg) or MPTP(10 and 20 mg/kg), twice a week with one day interval between injections for 3 consecutive weeks. Motor performance was assessed 1 day and dopamine level was analyzed 2 days after the last dose. The results showed a significant relation(P0.01) between the brain level of dopamine and the motor performance, and high dose MPTP(20 mg/kg) produced a significant decrease(P0.01) compare to control in the brain level of dopamine and the motor performance.
