Title: Diagnostic value of combined detection of serumCRP and Cys C for early renal injury in gouty patients
Abstract: Objective To explore the the diagnostic significance of combined detection of serum C reactive protein(CRP) and cystatin C(Cys C) for early renal injury in gouty patients. Methods 260 cases of gouty patients were divided into 2 groups:group A(with early renal damage group, n=130), group B(without early renal damage group, n=130), the serum CRP and Cys C from two groups were measured and compared respectively. Results The levels of CRP and Cys C in group A were significantly higher than those group B(P0.05). The positive rate of CRP and Cys C combined detection in group A was significantly higher than those in group B(P0.05). Comparing the positive ratio of CRP or Cys C in two groups respectively, there were no obvious difference in statistic(P0.05). The sensitivity rate and specificity rate of combination detection of CRP and Cys C were 88.9% and 84.9% respectively. Conclusion Simultaneous determination of serum CRP and Cys C can help to assess the early renal injury in patients with gout, and increase the diagnostic reliability, which is worthy of clinical application.
