Title: The diagnostic value of 64-spiral CT for metastatic lymph node in cervical carcinoma
Abstract: Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of 64-slice spiral CT for metastatic lymph node in cervical carcinoma.Methods The results of CT scan in 80 cervical carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed and compared with pathologic findings.Results There were 19 cases with metastatic lymph node detected by 64 slice spiral CT,20 cases detected by pathology,and 15 cases were overlapped.The sensitivity of the diagnosis for metastatic lymph node in cervical carcinoma by 64-slice spiral CT was 75.0%,The specificity was 93.3%,with accuracy rate of 88.8%,positive predictive value of 78.9%,and negative predictive value of 91.8%.Conclusion The accuracy rate of 64-slice spiral CT for the diagnosis of metastatic lymph node in cervical carcinoma is higher,which can analyze the factors such as the size of lymph node and internal density of metastatic lymph node comprehensively,and which is helpful to evaluate metastatic lymph node in pelvic so as to provide the basis for the choice of clinical treatment plan.
