Title: Determination of naringin in Jiegu Xujin capsules by high performance liquid chromatography
Abstract: Objective To establish an approach using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for determining naringin in Jieguxujin capsules. Methods The HPLC system consisted of Hypersil BDS C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 10 μm ) , mixed solvent of methanol-acetic acid solution (1 ml of acetic acid in 15 ml of water), (38∶62) as the mobile phase. The flow rate of mobile phase was 1.0 ml/min, the wavelength of detector was 283 nm, the column temperature was 40 ℃ and the injection volume was 10 μl. Results The linear range of naringin was 0.1535~0.7675 μg (r=0.9999). The average recovery was 99.1%, and the RSD was 0.67%. Conclusion The procedure appeared simple, rapid and accurate, which may be used to determine naringin in Jieguxujin capsules.
