Optimal temperat...Vegetative mycelium was isolated from tissue of fresh fruit body of Phellinus collected from the wild and the effects of various culture parameters on mycelial growth were determined. Optimal temperature and pH value for mycelial growth were 28 ℃ and 6.5, respectively while, of a number of carbon and nitrogen source tested, glucose and peptone respectively supported the highest mycelial growth rates and most vigorous mycelium production. Fresh-cut mulberry logs were superior to mulberry wood sawdust for the artificial cultivation of the Phellinus strains.Read More
