Title: Application of morning exercise on cerebral palsy patients in rehabilitation department
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the effects of morning exercises on the curative effect for children with cerebral palsy in the rehabilitation ward.Methods:The 52 children with cerebral palsy patients from March 2011 to May 2012 were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The observation group was offered the conventional rehabilitation treatment with morning exercises,while the control group was given only the conventional rehabilitation treatment.The assessments were made respectively before and after the three-months treatment with both the Gross Motor Function Measure(GMFM-66)and the Fine Motor Function Measure(FMFM).Results:After the treatment,both the gross motor function and the fine motor function of the observation group were all better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion:The combination of the conventional rehabilitation treatment and morning exercises may be more effective in improving overall efficacy for children with cerebral palsy in the hospital.
