Title: Clinical Research on Treatment of Recurrent Cervical Carcinoma with Three-dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effect of the treatment of recurrent cervical carcinoma with three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy(3D-CRT).Methods Sixty patients with recurrent cervical carcinoma were irradiated by three-dimensional conformal radio-therapy.The regimen was:total dose 56~60Gy,2~2.2Gy/f,1f/d,5f/w.Results The rates of sciatic pain and leg edema relief response were 100% and 65% respectively. The CR+PR response rate was 76.7%.The overall 1-and 3-year survival rates were 38% and 6%.Conclusion Three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy is much effective for recurrent cervical carcinoma, but the former had a low rate of complications and shortened treatment term.
