Title: A preliminary study on nutritional conditions for the strain mycelium growth of several cultivars of ganoderma
Abstract: Through the growth experiments on strain mycelium of three kinds cultivars of Ganoderma, the most suitable carbon source, nitrogen source and the optimum prescription of medium have been worked out. The results showed that the corn powder is the most suitable carbon source among corn powder, soluble starch, sucrose, glucose, lactose and maltose, and powder of peanut cake is the most suitable nitrogen source among peanut powder cake, yeast extract, peptone, etc. The experimental results also showed that PDA madia supplemented with peptone or the major mineral salts could promote the growth of mycelium, and the promoting effect is accumulatable.
