Title: Related factors of nosocomial infections in patients with gynecologic tumor undergoing radiotherapy
Abstract: OBJECTIVE To explore the related factors of nosocomial infections in patients with gynecologic tumor after radiotherapy and to provide guidance for clinical prevention and treatment.METHODS The clinical data of508 tumor patients of gynecology department who received radiotherapy from Mar 2013 to Mar 2014 were retrospectively analyzed,the related factors for the infections were analyzed,and all the data were statistically analyzed with the use of SPSS19.0software.RESULTS The nosocomial infections occurred in 42 patients with the infection rate of 8.27%,of whom 33.34%(14cases)had the urinary tract infections.A total of 42 strains of pathogens have been isolated,including 17(40.48%)strains of gram-negative bacteria,22(52.38%)strains of gram-positive bacteria,and 3(7.14%)strains of fungi.The related factors for the nosocomial infections included the granulocytopenia,diabetic mellitus,and invasive operation(P0.05).CONCLUSION The incidence of nosocomial infections is high in the patients with gynecologic tumor.It is an effective way to treat the patients in a timely manner and actively prevent the nosocomial infections that are induced by the invasive operation,granulocytopenia,and diabetic mellitus so as to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections.
