Title: Clinical analysis of thinprep cytology test in the screening of cervical cancer
Abstract: Objective To improve the diagnosis rate of cervical cancer screening.Method Cervical cells collected were tested by traditional pap smear and thinprep cytology test(TCT),and the results were compared double-blindly.The colposcopy examination application was held in both two groups,and the cell pathology exam was held on those cases with abnormal images under the colposcopy.Results Two means of examination of 2 981 cases: TCT: CIN I of 56 cases,CIN II of 27,CIN III of 9,SCC of 6;pap smear: CIN I of 21,CIN II of 13,CIN III of 4,SCC of 2.TCT got a higher diagnosis rate than pap smear.Conclusion TCT is propitious to cytology and tumor related HPV-DNA double examination.Compared with traditional pap smear,TCT is more sensitive to increase the diagnostic accuracy.
