The consonants are different whether the nasal and the laterals sounds fall into two parts, the unvoiced sound and the is voiced sound. The distribution of voiced consonants such as dz, d , z and are not the same in the ten dialects. For example, in the Changxin, Anji and Huzhou dialects dz, there is dz, but in the other counties' dialects, there is no dz. As to the vowels, many differences exist in the four forms of vowels. For example, in the Tongxiang and Haining dialects , there is a , but there is no such sound in the other counties. The Y in Huzhou dialect in turned into , e i in other counties.
