Title: EXPRESSION AND CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF MULTIDRUG RESISTANCE GENE PRODUCTION IN BREAST CANCER
Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of MDR1,GST-π and Topo-Ⅱ in primary breast cancer and to reveal the relationship with clinical pathological features. Methods 115 cases of breast cancer were examined to observe the expression of MDR1,GST-πand Topo-Ⅱ with immunohistochemical staining method(S-P method). Results The positive expressions of MDR1 and GST-π in breast cancer were 37.4%(43/115),27.8%(32/115) respectively. The positive rate was significantly higher in clinic stages Ⅲ than in clinic stages Ⅰ and Ⅱ(P0.01).The positive expression of Topo?Ⅱ was 48.7%(56/115),and the positive rate was significantly higher in the non?infiltrating carcinoma than in the infitrating carcinoma(P0.01).Conclusion Analysis of the expression of MDR1,GST-π and Topo-Ⅱ in breast cancer may contribute to the selection of drugs in chemotherapy and prognosis evalution of breast cancer.
