Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship betweent ATPase6,8 and hyperoxia-induced lung injury in premature newborn rats.Methods The 1-day-old preterm Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly assigned int...Objective To investigate the relationship betweent ATPase6,8 and hyperoxia-induced lung injury in premature newborn rats.Methods The 1-day-old preterm Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly assigned into air group and hypemxia group.Hyperoxia group were continuously exposed to oxygen(oxygen850 mL/L)and air group in room air.After 1,4,7,10,14 days of exposure,the rats were killed,whole lung RNA were isolated and ATPase6,8 mRNA were detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results 1.Compared with air group,ATPase6 mRNA expression was significantly increased(P0.05)after 1 day of exposure;it did not significantly change at day 4,7,10(Pa0.05);on the 14th day ATPase6 mRNA expression significantly increased(P0.01).2.Compared with air group,ATPase8 mRNA expression did not significantly change(Pa0.05)after 1,4,10 days of exposure;on the 7th,14th days,ATPase8 mRNA expression significantly increased(Pa0.05).Conclusion Hyperoxia induces changes of construction and function of ATPase6,8,which is likely to participate in the pathogenesis of hyperoxia-induced lung injury.Read More
