Title: Value of Carotid Artery Red-time Three-dimensional Ultrasonography for Evaluation of Risl of Cornonary Heart Disease
Abstract: Objective:To probe the value of using real-time three-dimensional ultrasonography for the evaluation of carotid atherosclerosis and the degree of coronary stenosis of patients with coronary heart disease.Method:A total of 100 patients were suspected coronary heart disease after had being diagnosed by coronary angiography(CAG).They were divided into two groups. All of these patients undertook carotid artery color doppler ultrasonography(2D) and realtime three-dimensional ultrasonography(3D)within CAG diagnosis, and carotid artery plaques were evaluated. The dependability between carotid atherosclerosis and coronary atherosclerotic heart disease were studied.Result:There was statistical significant difference between coronary heart disease group and control carotid plaques group(P0.05).The plaque detection rate raised significantly as coronary artery lesions involving the count increased. Also statistical difference was existed between patients between single-branch and multi-branches coronary artery disease(P0.05).As coronary atherosclerosis progressed, carotid plaques also become more and more. And lots of plaques were soft plaques and mixed plaques.Statistical difference existed between 3D and 2D in single-branch or multi-branches coronary artery disease and superficial ulcer of soft and mixed plaques detection rate(P0.05).There was significant positive linear correlation between carotid atherosclerosis and coronary atherosclerosis(P0.05).The superficial ulcer of plaques detection rate of 3D diagnosis was much better than of 2D diagnosis. Conclusion:Using real-time three-dimensional ultrasonography for the evaluation of carotid atherosclerosis, the degree of coronary stenosis patients with coronary heart disease can be evalued.Major adverse cardiovascular events is effectively predicted.
