Title: The cationic polyacrylamide applied to water-treating agent
Abstract: Complex initiation system is composed of redox system, azo compound and accessorial initiator. Using radical polymerization in water solution, reaction between the acrylamid and cationic monomer was initialed. Molecular weight of cationic polyacrylamide could be up to 2.276×107 at highest, and the weight ratio of cationic monomer could adjust randomly at range 1%~100%. The pH value, initiator concentration, monomer concentration, initial temperature and the dosage of accessorial mitiator were studied for the influence of polymeric reaction. Using orthogonal experiment, the optimized technics that manufactured cationic polyacrylamide was ascertained. Technical parameters were as follows: initiator concentration: 6×10-3%(for monomer), monomer concentration: 20%, pH value; 8, initial temperature: 10℃, N, N, N’, N’-Tetramethylethylenediamine concentration: 6×10-2%, AIBN concentration: 8×10-3%.
