Title: Study on HIV/AIDS knowledge,attitude and high-risk behaviors of undergraduates in Jinan City
Abstract: Objective To understand the status of HIV/AIDS knowledge,attitude and high-risk behaviors of undergraduates in Jinan City.Methods A survey was conducted among 1973 undergraduates in three colleges by multi-stage cluster random sampling,using a self-designed questionnaire with the content of HIV/AIDS knowledge,attitude and high-risk behaviors.Results The awareness rate of HIV/AIDS knowledge was 77.4%.Only 37.6% of the participants knew that mosquito bite could not transmit HIV.37.7% knew that rational nutrition and exercise could not enhance the resistibility.The rate of sexual behavior was 5.3%.54.1% of the students agreed that AIDS patients had the right of studying in school,and 62.5% of them was apt to keep friends with AIDS patients.Conclusion Many students' knowledge on AIDS was not correct,and their capacity of HIV/AIDS prevention was low.Part of them still discriminated against AIDS patients.AIDS health education should be conducted to underguaduates systemically and entirely.
