Abstract: Objective:To study the effect of radiofrequency ablation (RFA)on the immune state of patients with hepato-cellular carcinoma.Methods:Twenty-seven New Zealand rabbits with VX 2 liver tumor were divided into3groups randomly.Ten rabbits were treated by RFA in the first group.Ten rabbits were treated by ethanol injection (EI)in the second group. No treatment was applied to the7rabbits in the third group for experimental control.sIL-2R of all animals was examined before operation and3weeks after operation. The changes of CD4 + ,CD8 + ,CD4 + ?CD8 + ,and sIL-2R were observed before and after RFA.Results:CD4 + and CD4 + ?CD8 + value increased and sIL-2R markedly decreased, the change of CD8 + has no remarkable significance. Conclusion:RFA can improve the patient 's restrained immune to tumor.
