Title: Clinical treatment of ventricular arrhythmias in patients with chronic heart failure due to coronary heart disease
Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical treatment and outcome of ventricular arrhythmias in patients with chronic heart failure due to coronary heart disease. Methods One hundred patients with chronic heart failure due to coronary heart disease associated with ventricular arrhythmias who were admitted to our hospital from September 2012 to June 2014 were randomly and equally divided into observation group and control group. The control group received conventional treatment, while the observation group received intravenous amiodarone in addition to conventional treatment. Premature ventricular contraction(PVC), left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF), clinical out come, and the incidence of adverse reactions were evaluated in the two groups before and after treatment. Results PVC and LVEF were substantially improved in the two groups after treatment. Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly better improvements in PVC and LVEF( P 0.05), a significantly better clinical outcome(98.0% vs 82.0%, P 0.05), and a significantly lower incidence of adverse reactions(6.0% vs 20.0%, P 0.05). Conclusion Intravenou s amiodarone in addition to conventional treatment is effective in patients with chronic heart failure due to coronary heart disease associated with ventricular arrhythmias. This therapy can improve PVC and LVEF, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, and promote fast recovery in patients, which holds promise for clinical application.
