Title: Efficacy Analysis of Peptic Ulcer Treated with Kangfuxin and Esomeprazole
Abstract: Objective To study the efficacy on peptic ulcer treated with the combined medication of kangfuxin and esopeprazole. Methods Two hundred and thirty cases of peptic ulcer diagnosed with gastroscopy and treated in the hospital were randomized into two groups,115 cases in each one.In the treatment group, the combined medication of kangfuxin liquid 10 mL three times a day and esopeprazole,40 mg,once per day was prescribed. In the control group, esopeprazole was prescribed for oral administration,40 mg,once per day.The course of treatment was 4 weeks in two groups. At the end of treatment, the improvements in symptoms were observed and ulcer healing was evaluated under gastroscope. Results After 4 weeks treatment, the symptom score was lower significantly as compared with that before treatment in either group(P0.01),in which, the improvements in epigastric pain and distention in the treatment group were different significantly as compared with the control group;and those in the other symptoms were superior to the control group, but without significant difference in statistics. The gastroscope score indicated that the total effective rate was 99.13% in the treatment group and was 98.26% in the control group.Although the significance was superior to that before treatment, the difference was not significant statistically in comparison between two groups. Conclusion The combined medication of kangfuxin and esomeprazole improves much more effectively in the symptoms of peptic ulcer.
