Title: The Efficacy of Acupuncture Combined with Rehabilitation Therapy on Dysphagia after Stroke
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the efficacy of acupuncture and rehabilitation training on dysphasia after stroke.Methods: One hundred and twenty-five patients with stroke who developed dysphagia were divided into two groups,the control group treated with conventional treatment,and the rehabilitation group treated with additional combination of acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy.Results: The clinic observation showed that the dysphasia and VFSS scores were significantly improved in the rehabilitation group when compared with those in the controls.Conclusion: Acupuncture and rehabilitation training have a significant effect on dysphagia in patients with stroke.
