Title: Clinical investigation of Fangfengtongsheng Keli combind with cetirizine in the treatment of chronic eczema
Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of Fangfengtongsheng keli combinedwith cetirizine in the treatment of chronic eczema. Method One hundred and fifty outpatients with chronic eczema were divided into A group,B group and C group randomly. Fifty patients in group A took Chinese medicine Fangfengtongsheng keli 3 g two times orally every day and cetirizine tablet 10mg once daily. Fifty patients in B group took took cetirizine tablet 10mg once daily. Fifty patients in C group took Chinese medicine Fangfengtongsheng keli 3g two times orally every day. Mometasone furoate cream was used externally 2 times everyday in 3 groups for 2 weeks. Results The results of A group after treatment showed that the cured rate,effective rate,improvement rate,no effect rate and total effect rate were 66%, 24%,10%,0% and 90%,respectively. The results of B group after treatment showed that the cured rate,effective rate,improvement rate, no effect rate and total effect rate were 50%,22%,24%,4% and 72%,respectively. The results of C group after treatment showed that the cured rate,effective rate,improvement rate,no effect rate and total effect rate were 48%,20%,28%,4% and 68%,respectively. Conclusion This investigation indicates that Fangfengtongsheng keli combined with cetirizine tablet are an efficacy and safety therapy in the treatment of patient with chronic eczema.
