Title: Lipase-catalyzed synthesis for propylene glycol methyl fumarate
Abstract: Lipase was used as catalyst to synthesize fumarate and 1,2propylene glycol in order to obtain propylene glycol methyl fumarate(PMF).Several factors influenced the relative content of PMF were discussed, such as solvents, molar ratio of substrates, reaction temperature, enzyme dosage, concentration of substrates and reaction time. The results showed that the optimal reaction conditions acquired were tertiary butanol as solvent, the molar ratio of substrates(monomethyl fumarate : 1,2-propylene glycol) was 1∶2,substrates concentration was 1.0 mol/L,enzyme dosage was 1.2%,reaction temperature was 60℃and the duration of reaction was 20h.Under the optimal reaction conditions, the relative content of PMF was 63.89%.
