Title: Analysis of Clinical Features of Patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis and Positive HLA-B27
Abstract: Objective To analyze the clinical features of patients with ankylosing spondylitis(AS) and positive human leukocyte antigen-B27(HLA-B27).Methods The information of 1 340 patients with AS and positive HLA-B27 including age,sex and heredofamilial history were collected.Erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),serum rheumatic factor(RF) and levels of human anti-streptolysin O(ASO) were detected.Results The male-to-female ratio was 4.15∶1 in patients with AS and positive HLA-B27.The average age of first diagnosis was 31.75 and there were 87.31% patients with heredofamilial history.There were 42.5% patients with ESR over 20 mm/h and 20% patients with ASO over 500 U.Only one patients was with positive RF.Conclusion Patients with AS and positive HLA-B27 are most male and the etiology of AS is related to heredity.
