Title: The value of sensitive indicators in early detection of diabetic nephropathy
Abstract: Objective To explore the value of sensitive indicators in early detection of diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of126 cases of type 2 DM treated from July 2012 to October 2013 were divided into three groups according to their 24h-urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),including SDM group(n=33),EDN group(n=57),CDN group(n=36).Fifty-five cases of healthy people were as the normal controls(group NC).All groups were detected quantitatively for the level of CysC,Hcy,hs-CRP,and U-mALB as well as the positive rate.Measurement data were processed by t test, count data by χ2test,the result of P0.05 was significantly different. Results The level of CysC,Hcy,hs-CRP and U-mALB were(1.95±0.34)mg/L,(21.26±7.13)μmol/L,(5.31 ±2.25)mg/L,and(352.67±113.58)mg/L respectively in group DM,which was significantly higher than that in control group [(0.83 ±0.19)mg/L,(9.06±3.24)μmol/L,(0.85±0.23),(10.53±4.11)mg/L],showing significantly difference(P0.05).The level of CysC,Hcy,hs-CRP and U-mALB increased significantly with the severity of renal injury, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The positive rate of CysC,Hcy,hs-CRP,U-mALB increased with the severity of DN,and the combined detection of indicators showed a higher positive detection rate than the detection of a single indicator. Conclusion Combined detection of CysC,Hcy,hs-CRP U-mALB in diabetic patients can be used as a sensitive and reliable indictor for the early diagnosis of renal damage in DN.
